 ut pause\, so that the reading never ends. Its exuberant custom is the h
 akafot\, in which the Torah scrolls are carried in seven circuits around
  the synagogue amid singing and dancing\, and every worshipper is called
  to the Torah. It falls at the close of Sukkot\, coinciding in Israel wi
