A special master's report commissioned by the Colorado Attorney General's office, conducted by former U.S. Attorney Robert Troyer and released 22 October 2019. It found that at least 166 children were sexually abused by 43 Catholic priests across the Archdiocese of Denver and the Dioceses of Colorado Springs and Pueblo between 1950 and 2019, and that the average gap between a credible allegation reaching the Church and a priest's removal from ministry was 19.5 years.

Accused Documented Victim Estimate Key FindingSpecial Master Robert Troyer reviewed 500 priest files and interviewed about 70 witnesses over 22 months.
