This page groups artworks by what they actually show. Wikipedia notes that "images can often be divided into 'iconic images,' just showing one or more figures, and 'narrative images' showing moments from an episode or story involving sacred figures." Browsing by object-type lets a visitor tell a single-figure image from a story scene.
