Gathers the ceremonial centres and pilgrimage shrines of the pre-Columbian religious traditions of the Andes, spanning cultures from the early ceremonial complexes of the central Andean highlands to the coastal shrines of later Andean civilizations, each built around its own god, oracle or ceremonial cult rather than a single unified Andean religion. A member belongs here for its place within an indigenous Andean religious tradition predating and distinct from the Inca state religion gathered separately under Inca Sites, even where a later Inca-period reuse or expansion of the site is also part of its history.
