The scriptural core of the Babi Faith, the mid-nineteenth century Iranian movement founded by the Bab that Baha'is regard as a forerunner of the Baha'i Faith: The Bayan, the Bab's principal doctrinal work, alongside Dala'il-i-Sab'ih and Panj Sha'n. Distinct from the separate Baha'i Scriptures grouping nearby, which holds the later writings of Baha'u'llah; the two movements share an origin but are not treated here as one continuous scripture.
