Akong Rinpoche, known formally as Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche, was a tulku in the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism who lived from 1939 to 2013. He was co-founder of the Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, of Tara Rokpa Therapy, and of the charity ROKPA International.
