This page groups sacred objects by the physical material they are made of. Wikipedia notes that Renaissance occult writers such as Agrippa catalogued "the visible and occult properties of natural objects, including stones, herbs, animals, and the human body." Browsing by material lets a visitor find every object carved, cast or grown from the same substance.
