The sacred sites of Cheondoism, the Korean religion descended from the nineteenth century Donghak movement and its teaching of Innaecheon, that humanity itself bears the divine. Its central site, the Cheondogyo Central Temple in Seoul, has served as the religion's administrative and devotional headquarters since Cheondoism organized itself formally as a modern denomination under its third leader, Son Byong-hui, in the early twentieth century, and it remains the seat of the movement's central assembly today.
