All Chronicles (Scriptures and Texts)

Early histories that record the origin of a people together with its gods, such as the Japanese Kojiki, Nihon Shoki and Kogo Shui and the Maya Books of Chilam Balam. An entry belongs here when its article presents a sacred chronicle. The group page lists the texts of one canon or kind together so that a reader can see which works a tradition gathers under a single head. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
