Candler School of Theology is the theology school of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 1914. It is an official seminary of The United Methodist Church, offering United Methodist-specific programs such as the Course of Study and a Licensing School alongside its Master of Divinity and other graduate degrees. Candler prepares clergy and scholars for ministry within and beyond the Methodist tradition.
