The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the seat of its archbishop. Designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo and dedicated in 2002, it replaced St. Vibiana's Cathedral as the archdiocesan seat. The cathedral complex includes a mausoleum, conference center, and plaza and hosts regular parish worship alongside major archdiocesan liturgies.
