First Chinese Baptist Church of San Francisco is a multigenerational, bilingual Chinese-American congregation in San Francisco's Chinatown, founded in 1880 by American Baptist Home Missionaries to serve recently arrived Chinese immigrants. It survived two schisms, anti-Chinese hostility, and the destruction of its original building, and is affiliated with American Baptist Churches USA. The church continues to serve Chinatown today with English- and Cantonese-language ministries.
