First Congregational Church of Los Angeles is a United Church of Christ congregation founded in 1867, the oldest Protestant congregation in the city. Its Gothic Revival sanctuary on Commonwealth Avenue, completed in 1932, houses one of the largest pipe organs in the world. The church combines an active concert and arts program with a progressive social ministry.
