The Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Massachusetts is among the oldest Grand Lodges in continuous existence in the United States, tracing its roots to Provincial Grand Lodges chartered in 1733. Its headquarters, the Boston Masonic Building, overlooks Boston Common and houses six lodge halls, a Masonic research library, and the Grand Lodge's administrative offices. Public tours of the historic building are offered several days a week.
