The House of the Temple is the headquarters of the Supreme Council, 33°, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, USA. Completed in 1915 to a design by architect John Russell Pope modeled on the ancient Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the building houses the Supreme Council's administrative offices, a library, and museum collections on Scottish Rite Freemasonry. It is open to the public for free guided tours in Washington, D.C.
