Marble Collegiate Church, founded in 1628, is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America and part of the Collegiate Churches of New York, the oldest continuously operating Protestant church corporation in North America. The congregation also dually affiliates with the United Church of Christ. Its Romanesque Revival building at Fifth Avenue and 29th Street was completed in 1854, and the church became widely known nationally under longtime pastor Norman Vincent Peale.
