The Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) is the governing council of bishops for ROCOR, a semi-autonomous part of the Russian Orthodox Church since the 2007 Act of Canonical Communion with the Moscow Patriarchate. It is seated at the Synodal complex in Manhattan, a building acquired by the church in the late 1950s that also houses the Cathedral of the Icon of the Mother of God "of the Sign" and St. Sergius Church. The Synod coordinates ROCOR's dioceses and parishes across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
