The San Diego California Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints overlooking Interstate 5 in the University City neighborhood of San Diego. Dedicated in 1993, its six spires and white exterior, illuminated at night, have made it one of the city's most recognizable buildings. It is used for sacred ordinances such as endowments and sealings rather than regular Sunday worship.
