The Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego, founded in 1975, is a nonprofit organization teaching Taoist philosophy and meditation alongside Taijiquan (tai chi), Qigong, and Traditional Chinese medicine. It is directed by Bill Helm, a Taoist priest and Chinese medical practitioner, and his wife Allison Helm. The sanctuary offers classes, workshops, and community programs rooted in Taoist practice.
