All Creation Petition Prayers

A prayer petitioning a creator deity, distinct from a hymn or myth that narrates creation, in that the prayer asks for something on the strength of the deity's role as maker rather than simply recounting the act. The type comes from the study of ancient Near Eastern and Egyptian prayer, where petitions are often catalogued by which divine role they invoke.
