Nabarbi

Hurrian Deities

Nabarbi, whose name means 'she of Nawar,' is a pan-Hurrian goddess associated with the city or region of Nawar in Hurrian religious geography. She was closely linked in cult practice with the god Taite, and her worship extended across the Hurrian-speaking world alongside other major pan-Hurrian deities such as Simige and Kusuh. Comparatively little of her specific mythology survives, but her wide attestation across Hurrian religious centers marks her as one of the pantheon's significant goddesses rather than a purely local figure.
