Ainina and Danina

Georgian Deities

Ainina and Danina, also recorded as Ainina and Danana, are a pair of pre-Christian female deities said to have been worshipped in ancient Kartli, the Iberia of classical sources, according to the medieval Georgian chronicles. Beyond these later chronicle records, no other evidence survives for the existence of their cult.
