Salatul Tasbih, also called the prayer of glorification, is a sunnah prayer of four units of prayer performed in two sets, distinguished from ordinary tasbih recitation by its formal structure of prescribed prayer units rather than simple repeated glorification of God. Islamic tradition holds that performing it brings forgiveness of sins, and Muhammad is reported to have recommended that Muslims pray it at least once in a lifetime.
