East Asia and Central Asia

Gathers China, Japan, Korea and Tibet together with the Inner and Central Asian lands that bordered and repeatedly crossed into Chinese religious history: Central Asia and the Central Asian Steppe, Siberia, and the Chinese regions of Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan and the North China Plain, together with the Ryukyu Islands. A member belongs here for naming a place within East Asia proper or the Central Asian and Siberian steppe and forest belt whose peoples' religious history runs through the same trade and migration routes.
