Elemental Spirits (Mythical Creatures)

Spirits of the four elements as described by the alchemists and Paracelsus, such as the salamander of fire. An entry belongs here when its article presents a being as the spirit or inhabitant of an element. The group page lists related creatures together so that a reader can compare how one kind of being appears across cultures and stories. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
