All Epic Poem

Gathers long narrative poems recounting a religious epic, cosmology or the deeds of gods and heroes, composed in verse as a sustained narrative with its own plot and cast rather than as a shorter devotional lyric or a prose account of the same material. A member belongs here for its sustained narrative verse form spanning many stanzas or cantos, distinct from the shorter poems, hymns and translated verse anthologies gathered under Poetry and Verse Collection.
