Epics (Scriptures and Texts)

Long narrative poems that carry the myths and religious values of a people, such as the Mahabharata, the Ramayana and the Hawaiian Kumulipo. An entry belongs here when its article presents a sacred epic. The group page lists the texts of one canon or kind together so that a reader can see which works a tradition gathers under a single head. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
