All Kabbalistic Texts (Esoteric Texts)

Texts that set out, interpret or defend the Jewish mystical tradition of Kabbalah, including treatises on the divine names, the sefirot and the hidden meaning of scripture. Some are medieval works written inside Jewish communities, while others are Renaissance writings in which Christian humanists studied Kabbalistic ideas for their own purposes. Hasidic handbooks that treat the soul and its relation to God in mystical terms also belong with them. These are works read for their teaching on how creation, the divine and the human soul are connected.
