This group holds the events treated as founding or defining for a tradition's ritual calendar, from the Gospel events between the Annunciation and Pentecost to the Buddha's enlightenment and parinirvana, Muhammad's first revelation and night journey, the revelation to Zarathustra, and comparable founding moments in Baha'i, Jain, Daoist and Wiccan history. It is the largest group in this section and excludes birth events, which are filed separately under Birth even where the same figure appears in both.
