Founding (Religious Events)

The foundings of cities, states and communities in religious or mythic terms, such as the founding of Rome, the founding of Tenochtitlan and the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt. An entry belongs here when its article presents the origin of a polity as a sacred event. The group page lists events of the same kind together so that a reader can compare how different religions remember and record such moments.
