Objects and structures placed to mark a grave or memorialise the dead within a specific religious framework, distinct from the funerary architecture recorded among sacred sites. The heading is narrow because most funerary material is held as architecture or as an artifact instead, and the boundary with grave markers kept elsewhere in the Atlas is not always a sharp one.
