Piscis Austrinus

Piscis Austrinus is one of the 88 modern constellations recognized by the International Astronomical Union. Its genitive form is Piscis Austrini, its standard abbreviation is PsA, it is traditionally shown as the Southern Fish. It belongs to the Heavenly Waters family of constellations and lies in the fourth quadrant of the southern hemisphere. The constellation covers about 245 square degrees of sky, ranking 60th in size among the 88. Its brightest star is Fomalhaut (α PsA) at apparent magnitude 1.16. It borders Capricornus, Microscopium, Grus, Sculptor and Aquarius.
