Pinsk-Karlin is a Hasidic group that split from the already-live Karlin-Stolin dynasty after a group of Karlin elders rejected its young leadership following the death of Rabbi Yochanan of Karlin-Stolin. They initially followed the Lelover Rebbe before appointing Rabbi Aharon Rosenfeld, himself a Karliner Hasid, as their own rebbe, taking the name Pinsk-Karlin to distinguish their community from the parent movement.
