Klausenburg, also known as Sanz-Klausenburg, is a Hasidic dynasty that originated in the Transylvanian city of Cluj-Napoca, known in German as Klausenburg, today in Romania. It was founded in 1927 by Yekusiel Yehudah Halberstam, a great-grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz, founder of the Sanz Hasidic dynasty, and became formally separate from the Sanzer branch in Israel in 1994 when leadership divided between Halberstam's two sons.
