Sadigura is a Hasidic dynasty named for the city of Sadhora, known in Yiddish as Sadigura, in Bukovina, then part of the Austrian Empire. It began in 1850 with Rabbi Avrohom Yaakov Friedman, a son of Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Ruzhyn, and was based in Sadigura until 1914; during the interwar period its rebbes were based in Vienna and Przemysl, Poland, before the dynasty moved to Israel just before World War II.
