Skulen is a Hasidic dynasty founded by Eliezer Zusia Portugal, taking its name from Sculeni, a town in Bessarabia now in Moldova, where he was born and served as rabbi. It was later headed by his son, Yisroel Avrohom Portugal, until his death on April 1, 2019.
