Trimurti and Their Consorts

The three central gods of the Puranic Hindu pantheon, Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer and transformer, together known as the Trimurti, along with each god's principal consort goddess: Saraswati with Brahma, Lakshmi with Vishnu, and Parvati and her earlier incarnation Sati with Shiva. This group also holds Dattatreya, a deity worshipped as a single combined incarnation of all three Trimurti gods at once, a distinct figure from any one god's own avatar tradition.
