Horses (Mythical Creatures)

Legendary horses with special powers, such as Odin's eight legged horse Sleipnir. An entry belongs here when its article describes a mythical horse that is not winged. Sleipnir is the example that sets the pattern. It excludes winged horses, which have their own group, and ordinary horses with a ritual role. The group page lists related creatures together so that a reader can compare how one kind of being appears across cultures and stories.
