All Hungry Ghosts

A specific class of suffering spirit defined by unsatisfiable craving, drawn here from the Buddhist preta, traditionally described with a huge stomach and a throat too narrow to feed it. The category names a particular doctrinal condition of rebirth rather than a general ghost. Excludes ghosts without this defining hunger, which are grouped under the general ghosts heading.
