Movement Kind

This page groups groups of this kind by whether they stand entirely apart or grew out of an older religion. Wikipedia notes that "NRMs can be novel in origin, or they can be part of a wider religion, in which case they are distinct from pre-existing denominations." Browsing by movement-kind lets a visitor tell a wholly new movement from an offshoot of an older one.
