The texts a tradition treats as authoritative for belief and practice, whether revealed, transmitted or compiled. This is the largest group here and the most varied: it holds the Torah and the Quran alongside the Kojiki, the Guru Granth Sahib, the Book of Mormon and the central texts of movements founded within the last two centuries. What files a text here is the standing its own tradition gives it, not age, length, or how widely it is read outside that tradition.
