Native American Festivals

Green Corn Ceremony, the single entry filed here, names a harvest rite observed under various forms and various names by numerous distinct Native American nations rather than one shared festival with one fixed form. This atlas uses the label as a broad type of convenience, not as a claim that Native American religious practice is a single tradition; the ceremony's specifics differ considerably between the peoples who observe it.
