Novel

Gathers works of long-form prose fiction that take a religious figure, institution, practice or belief as subject matter or setting, from classic literary novels built around a historic religious community to contemporary popular and genre fiction, thrillers and fantasy that draw on real or invented religious material. A member belongs here for its fictional, narrative prose form told at novel length, distinct from the dramatic works gathered under Play, the shorter illustrated and graphic narratives gathered separately, and the nonfiction scripture, treatise, history and memoir works gathered elsewhere in this tree.
