All Christian Reform and Anabaptist Founders

Founders and leading figures of the Radical Reformation, the wing of the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation that broke further from the Catholic Church than the magisterial reformers Luther, Calvin and Zwingli, chiefly by rejecting infant baptism in favor of believer's baptism and by separating church membership from state authority. This includes the earliest Swiss Anabaptist leaders who broke with Zwingli in Zurich, Spiritualist and mystical reformers who emphasized inner revelation over the outward church, and figures whose reform work is inseparable from their marriage or household partnership with a leading reformer.
