This page groups prayers by the role they play in worship. Wikipedia notes that "prayer can take a variety of forms: it can be part of a set liturgy or ritual, and it can be performed alone or in groups." Browsing by liturgical function lets a visitor find every prayer that serves the same specific role in a service.
