Pantheons of Southeast Asia and Indonesia

The religions of the peoples of mainland and island Southeast Asia, among them the Burmese, Thai, Khmer and Hmong of the mainland and the Dayak, Javanese, Toraja, Balinese and Igorot of the islands, where older spirit worship lies beneath or beside Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam. A pantheon belongs here when its cited article describes the spirits and deities of one of these peoples. It excludes the tribal peoples of India and the peoples of Sri Lanka, southwest China and Japan.
