Fungi (Plants)

Fungi with a religious, ritual or mythic role, such as the fly agaric, the psilocybe mushrooms and ergot, the grain fungus long tied to visions and epidemics. An entry belongs here when its article describes a fungus rather than a green plant. The group page lists plants of one kind together so that a reader can compare their religious, ritual and medicinal uses. Entries are placed by what their own article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group that its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
