Gathers the regions and nations of Europe, from Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia through Iberia, France, Italy and the Rhineland to Central and Eastern Europe and the Greek and Macedonian lands of the classical world. A member belongs here for naming a place substantially within the European landmass, whether an ancient polity such as Etruria and Latium, a medieval or early modern kingdom such as Castile or England, or a broader cultural band such as Western or Central Europe used where no single nation names the tradition's home precisely enough.
