Founders of movements and offshoots that arose within or alongside the Islamic world, including a medieval Almohad reform leader, a claimant to prophethood contemporary with Muhammad, the founding figures of the Druze faith and the Yazidi religion, the founder of the Yarsan or Ahl-e Haqq tradition of western Iran, and a medieval Sufi saint whose shrine and order remain a major center of devotion in Egypt.
