Nikolsburg (Hasidic dynasty)

Hasidic Dynasties

Nikolsburg is a Hasidic dynasty descending from Shmelke of Nikolsburg, a disciple of Dov Ber of Mezeritch, who served as chief rabbi of Moravia in the city of Nikolsburg, today Mikulov in the Czech Republic, from 1773 to 1778. The dynasty takes its name from that city, and its headquarters today is in Monsey, New York.
